Our final chapter in developing the Knocknashee Community Hub is to convert the Bar & Lounge into a social area for the people of the community.
We have wonderful memories of this once active bar and look forward to bringing that back for the community to enjoy for generations to come. But we need help!
Financial support from within our community, outside our community and from our worldwide diaspora who will always feel at home here, is greatly appreciated.
We are open on Saturdays & Sundays from 10am to 2pm serving a selection of delicious cakes and treats.
The café is run by volunteers from our local community. It is a lovely place for the community to gather and a welcoming place to visitors enjoying the beautiful scenery and walking trails in the area.
The Hub is surrounded by significant historical and archaeological sites like Knocknashee Hill, Court Abbey, Achonry Cathedral and Chaffpool House. Just a stones throw away is the increasingly popular Knocknashee Hill walk.
